MBM University’s First Convocation Ceremony Held with Great Enthusiasm

MBM University celebrated its first convocation ceremony with great enthusiasm. The event was graced by the presence of Dr. Baldev Ram Mirdha, the Vice Chancellor, along with other distinguished guests and faculty members.

The program began with a tribute to Shri Mugneeram Ji Bangar, and the esteemed guests were welcomed with traditional attire and gestures. Dr. Mirdha emphasized the importance of integrating youth with innovation in technical education and urged the graduates to approach research with an original Indian perspective.

The ceremony saw a large turnout of students, professors, and alumni members, reflecting the strong community spirit and commitment to educational excellence. The Vice Chancellor, in his address, encouraged the graduates to move forward with a sense of cooperation and to contribute positively to society.

Prof. Sushil Bhandari, President of the MBM Engineering College Alumni Association, highlighted the historical significance of MBM Engineering College, noting its establishment a day before the oldest IIT in the country. He expressed pride in the institution’s legacy and its ongoing contributions to engineering education.

Certificates were distributed to the graduates, with a special mention of the top performers. The event also included a quiz competition organized by Prof. Akhil Ranjan Garg, Head of the Department of Electrical Engineering, as part of the Independence Amrit Mahotsav celebrations.

The convocation ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks from Prof. Arvind Kumar Verma, Vice President of the Alumni Association, who expressed his gratitude to all the participants and contributors for making the event a grand success.

The first convocation ceremony at MBM University marked a significant milestone in the institution’s history, celebrating academic achievements and fostering a sense of unity and progress among its members.
